On March 18th, Ma Jiantang, Secretary of the Party Group of the Development Research Center of the State Council, came to our city to investigate the development of regional integration in the Yangtze River Delta. Deng Xiangyang, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Executive Vice Governor, participated in the research and presided over a special research symposium on the integrated development strategy of the Yangtze River Delta. Hou Yongzhi, Minister of the Development Department of the Development Research Center of the State Council, Wang Jinzhao, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Economic Affairs, Li Bifang and Zheng Training, Deputy Secretary General of the Provincial Government, Sun Donghai, Director of the Development Research Center of the Provincial Government, Cao Fayi, Deputy Director of the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Zhang Yuefeng, Zuo Jun, and Wu Jin, municipal leaders, and Chen Yonghong, Secretary General of the Municipal Government, attended the symposium or participated in research.

At the symposium, Ma Jiantang pointed out that elevating the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta region to a national strategy is of great significance for the overall development. To promote the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta region, work needs to be more focused and upgraded, focusing on promoting the integration of top-level design, infrastructure, industrial development, public services, and ecological environmental protection. The efforts to solve difficult problems need to be further strengthened, and it is necessary to vigorously crack down on institutional barriers that are not conducive to integrated development, promote adjacent regions to take the lead in integration, and create demonstration zones for integrated development and institutional mechanism reform. The support policies need to be more precise. The Development Research Center of the State Council will make good use of the research results and propose high-quality countermeasures and suggestions to provide intellectual support for the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta region.

Deng Xiangyang pointed out during the symposium that the research conducted by the Development Research Center of the State Council will play an important role in promoting the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta region. Anhui Province has a highly unified understanding and active actions towards the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta region at all levels and in all aspects. Next, we will further identify our own positioning, leverage the strengths of Anhui, seize opportunities, strengthen coordinated and linked development with Shanghai, Jiangsu, and Zhejiang, and truly implement the national strategy of integrated development in the Yangtze River Delta region.

During his speech, Zhang Yuefeng, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, said that the development of regional integration in the Yangtze River Delta has become a national strategy, which is not only a major political responsibility but also a significant development opportunity for us. It is suggested to lead integration through planning coordination, support integration through transportation, highlight integration through adjacent breakthroughs, promote integration through industrial supporting facilities, and ensure integration through top-level design, in order to promote higher quality integrated development in the Yangtze River Delta.

At the symposium, Mayor Zuo Jun reported on our city's active participation in the development of the Yangtze River Delta integration. The Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Nanjing Municipal Development and Reform Commission, and relevant departments of our city made speeches. In the afternoon of that day, Ma Jiantang and his delegation also conducted on-site inspections of Guoxuan New Energy Vehicle Power Battery Parts Base, Anhui Haili Precision Casting Co., Ltd., Huayi Rixin Technology Co., Ltd., Ma'anshan Comprehensive Bonded Zone, and AUX Air Conditioning Project, to gain a detailed understanding of our city's integration into the Long Triangle and undertaking industrial transfer.
